Tuesday Golf – 10 February 2026
It was one of those perfect Queenstown mornings that started calm and pleasant — the kind of day where you think “this’ll be a cruisy round”… until that breeze decided to drop in and remind us who’s boss. Still, there were plenty of smiles, some fine golf, and a few stories that’ll be retold at the bar (with extra embellishment, no doubt).
18-Hole Stableford Results
It was another strong field and some great scoring out there today. Julie Grant led the charge with a stellar 40 points, keeping things tidy and consistent to take out top spot. Jaydee Oh, who seems to have carried his lucky streak right through from the weekend, wasn’t far behind on 39 points, proving that good golf and good fortune are an unbeatable combo.

Twos, Birdies & Net Eagles
Tom James pocketed the only two of the day, walking away with $37, and wasn’t finished there — he also claimed the Birdie Hole (#2) for another $37.
Meanwhile, Robyn Bitcheno showed that consistency pays off, nabbing the Net Eagle Hole (#8) for $37 as well.
Special Prizes:
A tidy day’s haul for a few familiar names — well played all round!
9-Hole Stableford Results
The 9-holers took to the front nine with determination (and, in some cases, a few extra layers). The course played fair, and the scoring was close across the board — it came down to who could keep it steady and sink a few clutch putts.
Results:
1?? Anne Oliver – 23 pts – $20
2?? Judy Stephens – 22 pts – $15
3?? Jackie Phillips – 18 pts – $8
4?? Tricia Lund-Jackson – 18 pts – $8
5?? Joan Potts – 18 pts – $8
Longest Putt: Penny McDonald – $10
Final Word
All in all, it was a brilliant Tuesday of golf — good company, good laughs, and some very tidy golf despite the occasional gusty interruption.
Congratulations to all our winners and a special nod to Julie Grant for leading the way with 40 points, and to Tom James and Robyn Bitcheno for cleaning up in the specials!
Here’s to another great week ahead — may your drives be long, your putts true, and your golf balls stay on the fairway (most of the time).
Have a grand evening everyone,
Mitch
