The Queenstown Golf Club is normally open 363 days a year (closed 25/26 December). Visitors are always welcome, but please phone ahead to reserve your tee time or book online to avoid disappointment.

Members Only times:
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning before midday are generally reserved for members and their guests only. Nine hole visitor play is available on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday monring from 8am to 9am.
Dress Code:
We are reasonably relaxed with our dress code and ask players to be neat and tidy. Singlets are not acceptable along with jandals, work boots, gumboots, rugby / football / cricket shoes.
Golf Clubs:
Each player must have a set of golf clubs. Sharing is not permitted. Both full and half sets of clubs are available for hire; see rates below.

Ordinary Residents of Queenstown, Arrowtown, Kingston or Glenorchy receive a 50% discount on public green fee rates upon proof of residency (e.g. rates account/power or utility bills). Discounts will be applied to the Affiliated rate if a member of a golf club elsewhere in New Zealand, or on the visitor rate if not a member of a golf club in New Zealand.
Special rates also apply to members of NZ golf clubs located in the Otago and Southland golfing districts. Please phone for bookings.
Guests staying at the Hilton or Doubletree by Hilton in Queenstown enjoy a 25% discount on the prevailing green fee, reduced cart hire rate of $40 and a 50% discount on club hire. A valid room access card is required to gain these special rates.
*18 Hole Replay rates apply to repeat rounds within 7 days of original round.

Greens maintenance : We utilise the lighter greens maintenance option 3 times annually (September/December and March) with less invasive Maredo HiSpeed coring units. followed by light top-dressing. We will conduct other minor maintenance throughout the year that will create minimal disruption.
Irrigation systems upgrade - 12 May 2026-31 August 2026 - Nine holes of the course will be closed during this period. A composite 9 hole course will be available and players may choose to complete either 9 or 18 holes (2 loops) of play.
