Café at Queenstown Golf Club
You don't need to play golf to enjoy one of Queenstown's best views.
Tucked away on Kelvin Peninsula, our café is a relaxed local spot for great coffee, casual food and an outlook that's difficult to beat.
Take a seat on the deck overlooking the 18th green, Lake Whakatipu and The Remarkables. Drop in after a walk or bike ride, meet friends for coffee, bring the family for lunch or simply escape the bustle of central Queenstown for a while.
Golfers, locals, walkers, cyclists, families and visitors — everyone is welcome.
OPEN 7 DAYS • FREE PARKING • FAMILY FRIENDLY • TRAIL-SIDE • GREAT COFFEE • REMARKABLE VIEWS

From the Kitchen
Good Food. No Fuss.
Our food is designed to suit the way people actually use the clubhouse — whether that's a quick coffee before golf, brunch with friends, lunch after a walk or something substantial after 18 holes.
Alongside our café menu you'll find a changing selection of fresh cabinet food, with favourites such as muffins and scones, sandwiches, quiche, bacon and egg baps, toasties, pies, sausage rolls and classic South Island cheese rolls.
Grab something quickly or settle in and take your time. We're not big on formality here.
A Place to Meet
Locals Very Welcome
Queenstown Golf Club might sit on one of the country's most spectacular golf courses, but our café isn't just for golfers.
We're part of the Kelvin Heights community and we'd love more locals to think of the clubhouse as their neighbourhood café — somewhere easy to meet a friend, have lunch, bring the kids or simply sit outside with a coffee.
There's no need to dress up, book a tee time or know anything about golf. Just come in.
Find Your Table
The Deck Might Be the Best Seat in the House
On a sunny Queenstown day, there are few better places to linger over a coffee or lunch.
Our deck looks directly across the golf course towards The Remarkables, with Lake Whakatipu just beyond. It's equally good for watching the final groups finish the 18th, catching up with friends or doing absolutely nothing for a while.
Bring Everyone
Family Friendly
Children are very welcome. We have highchairs, a toy box and a children's play park near the entrance to the golf course.
There's plenty of free parking, space to relax and no expectation that everyone sitting at the table needs to be a golfer.

Your Kelvin Peninsula Pit Stop
