Well now, if there was ever a day for a bit of luck, laughter and lively scoring, it was St Patrick’s Day at Queenstown Golf Club. The Irish Stableford format always brings a bit of strategy and a bit of chaos — a bit like trying to herd leprechauns across a fairway.
There were some cracking scores posted, and it appears a few players must have found a four-leaf clover tucked somewhere in the bag.
18 Hole Irish Stableford
The full field took on the St Patrick’s challenge, and it was Annette Fea who clearly had the luck of the Irish firmly on her side, posting a terrific 90 points to take top honours.

Final Word
St Patrick’s Day golf always seems to bring out a little extra magic — whether it’s a lucky bounce, a long putt that somehow drops, or a score that makes you double-check the card.
Congratulations to all our winners, especially Annette Fea and Carolyn Rooney, who clearly found the club’s hidden pot of gold today.
Until next time — may your drives be straight, your putts true, and may the luck of the Irish stay with you a little longer than just today.
