Hi everyone,
Well would you look at that — two sunny days in a row! We’re not getting carried away… but it does feel like summer decided to make a late comeback just for us. The fairways were glowing, the greens were rolling beautifully, and spirits were high for our Be Different Stableford – Your Tee Choice competition.
Now, when we say “Be Different”, we did notice that only a handful of brave souls truly embraced the concept and ventured to tees they wouldn’t normally grace. Most of you… well… let’s just say “different” is open to interpretation. One day we might introduce a “You Can’t Play Your Normal Tee” Stableford” — consider yourselves warned.

Eary birds get the worm- 1st tee time @ 8:00am- Whetu Luna, Tim Myers, James Berryman and Stephen Makuta. Stephen and Tim both featuring in the prizes.
Overall Stableford – Placegetters

A special mention to Frank Garthwaite, celebrating his 72nd birthday in style and finding himself comfortably in the prizes. Not a bad way to mark the occasion — happy birthday Frank!

Not taken today but it was this year- there's Frank in his pink shorts

Twos – Hole 11 Was Generous
The pin placement on Hole 11 clearly caught the eye, with most of today’s twos coming there and each earning $12:
-
Murray Carter
-
Stephen William Potts
-
Reuben Williams-Warren
-
Tim Myers
-
Neil Watson
Except for Danny King, who decided Hole 14 — notoriously tricky off any tee colour — was the better option. A quality two there deserves a quiet nod of respect.
Birdies Draw – Hole 6
The Birdies Draw landed on Hole 6, and it proved very profitable:
One well-timed birdie making all the difference.
Net Eagles Draw – Hole 1
The Net Eagles Draw was pulled on Hole 1:
A very tidy reward for one exceptional hole.
Special Prizes
The NTP is now worth $20 credit on account, so dial those irons in.
-
Longest First Putt – Suzanne Vidak – $30 Neat Meat Voucher
Still worth a solid $30 Neat Meat Voucher, and always well earned.
-
Random Card Draw – Sue Cunningham – $50 credit
A Quick Pro Shop Note
During the busy season we are seeing very high cart bookings, particularly in the afternoons. As a result, we do need to pair members together in carts more frequently than usual.
We know some of you enjoy your personal space, but please respect the Air Traffic Control skills of your Pro Shop team as we juggle cart rotations and tee sheets on busy days. A little cooperation goes a long way in keeping everything running smoothly.

Two sunny Saturdays in a row, strong scoring, birthday celebrations, and plenty of prize winners — not a bad way to wrap up February.
See you all next week.
