Hi everyone,

If this is how Saturday golf in 2026 is going to roll, then strap yourselves in.

Our Combined Stableford Pairs produced one of those days where the format, the field, and a bit of good old-fashioned luck all lined up beautifully. Most players sensibly paired up within their own foursomes, while a handful were left “high and dry” thanks to three-balls or a playing partner opting out of the comp. As it turned out, being an orphan wasn’t such a bad thing after all…

Let’s get into it

Overall Results – Combined Stableford Pairs

1st – Martin Langford & Janet Latham – 82 pts – $35
The story of the day. Martin was one of the first back in with a very handy 39 points, parked up in the clubhouse hoping for a partner in form. Enter Janet Latham, the odd one out in her three-ball… and absolutely flying with 43 points. Together they posted a monster 83-point total and completely whitewashed the field. Right place, right time, right partner.

2nd – Cory Clark & Christopher Heald – 79 pts – $30

3rd – Kayleigh Woodings & Adam Dawson – 74 pts – $25
Fresh off a tropical island escape and celebrating her birthday in style, Kayleigh clearly didn’t leave the form overseas. A big day out for this pairing.

9th – Tony Moran & Russell Moore – 70 pts – $10
10th – Dean Corry & David Clearwater – 70 pts – $10

Wrapping It Up

From lucky pairings and birthday form to big totals and busy prize tables, this was a cracking way to kick off Saturday golf in 2026. If today is any indication, we’re in for a big year of banter, birdies, and combined formats that keep everyone guessing.

Bring on the rest of 2026 Saturdays — same energy, same smiles, maybe fewer three-balls next time.
