Now this was a day to be out on the golf course. Blue skies, sunshine, and barely a whisper of wind. The kind of perfect autumn conditions that make you forget every bad shot you’ve ever hit, at least until the next one.

With weather like that, it’s no surprise the scoring was sharp and a few players took full advantage.

Two’s Club

A good spread of twos today, with:

Tom doubling up here as well. When you’re on, you’re on.

Birdies and Net Eagles

The Birdie Hole was number 15, and five players shared the spoils at $15 each:

Tom James
Steve McDiarmid
Ernst Wenger
Greg Kerr
Sam Lee

The Net Eagle Hole was number 2, and it paid out nicely to:

Genevieve Herron – $75

A tidy return for one well-timed hole.

Bill Grant – $10

Longest Putt:
Ernie Smith – $10

Final Word

It doesn’t get much better than days like this. Sunshine, calm conditions, and a course that rewards good golf and occasionally the odd bit of brilliance.

Congratulations to all our winners, and especially Tom James, who managed to tick just about every box - winning the stableford, making 2 twos (including an eagle) and sneaking in on the birdie hole too. Scoring, style, and a little bit of magic on 13.

If this is autumn golf, we’ll take it every week. See you all again soon!
