Tuesday Stableford – 24 March 2026

Well, if there was ever a day where the ladies took control of the prize table, this was it. The Stableford results were absolutely dominated by the women, and it’s safe to say the men were left scrambling for scraps.

Conditions were again right in that sweet spot of autumn golf we all enjoy. Calm, comfortable, and just enough warmth to get around without any qualms.

18 Hole Stableford Results

1st: Ann Cowan – 47 pts – $30
2nd: Ann McDowell – 41 pts – $25
3rd: Robyn Bitcheno – 38 pts – $20
4th: Ngaire Hayes – 36 pts – $15
5th: Kay Shaw – 35 pts – $12

A clean sweep at the top by the ladies, and not just edging it either. Ann Cowan’s 47 points was a standout round and well clear of the field.

Birdies and Net Eagles

The Birdie Hole was number 13, with:

Tom James – $20

The Net Eagle Hole was number 11, and it was:

Joan Blomfield – $20

Nicely timed scoring on both counts.

Special Prizes

Nearest the Pin:
David Grant – $10
Robyn Bitcheno – $10

Longest Putt:
Tom James – $10

9 Hole Stableford Results

The 9-holers followed suit, continuing the trend for the day.

1st: Robynne Stevens – 26 pts – $20
2nd: Louise Hall – 22 pts – $15
3rd: Kate McMahon – 21 pts – $12

More strong scoring and more evidence that the women had the course well under control.

Final Word

A great day of golf with excellent scoring and even better company. The ladies well and truly stamped their authority on today’s competition, and the results speak for themselves.

The men might be hoping for a bit of redemption next time out, but for now, the honours firmly belong with the women.

See you all next round.
