Thursday Stableford – 26 March 2026

Well, the weather gods finally decided we’d had enough of the good run. After what felt like the best stretch of “summer” we’ve seen in a while, the rain arrived right on cue and brought things back to reality.

That said, it held off just long enough for some solid scoring, and those who embraced the conditions still managed to put together some very tidy rounds.

The Birdie Hole was number 8, and it paid out nicely to:

Brian MacPherson – $63

A well-timed strike to take the full share.

The Net Eagle Hole was number 6, and two players shared the spoils:

Mike Rivers – $31
Bruce Cunningham – $31

Final Word

A day that started with promise and finished with a reminder that autumn golf can turn quickly. Still, plenty of good scoring and good humour out there, even as the rain crept in.

The run of fine weather may have come to an end, but the golf carried on as always.

See you all next round.
