Sunday's golf wrapped up another fantastic winter weekend, with both the 18-hole and 9-hole competitions producing some quality scoring and a few familiar names finding themselves in the winner's circle.
The 18-hole competition was claimed by Bernt Carlsson, who bounced back into winning form with an excellent 39 Stableford points. Bernt has been threatening another big round for a while, and Sunday he put it all together to finish one point clear of Lynne McVicar and Walter Dickie, who both posted impressive rounds of 38 points. Lynda Baker continued her recent run of consistency with another prize-winning performance on 37 points, while Bill Grant rounded out the top five with 36.

1st – Bernt Carlsson – 39 pts – $30
2nd – Lynne McVicar – 38 pts – $20
3rd – Walter Dickie – 38 pts – $20
4th – Lynda Baker – 37 pts – $15
5th – Bill Grant – 36 pts – $10
If there was an award for making the most of one hole, David Grant would've won that too.
David managed not one, but two Twos during his round, collecting $16 from the Twos Club, before adding another $17 after his name was drawn in the Birdies competition. Not a bad return for a day's golf! Meanwhile, Bernt's winning round became even sweeter after he picked up the Net Eagles Draw, adding another $17 to his winnings.
