Tuesday's Ladies 9 Hole Stableford produced another afternoon of excellent golf, and if there was any doubt about the benefits of a little rest, Jenny Browne has just provided all the evidence anyone could need.

Looking fresh, well-rested and clearly full of confidence, Jenny returned to the course in style, producing a superb 24 Stableford points to take top honours. Whether it was time away from the golf course or simply arriving with a fresh set of batteries, Jenny was the player everyone else was chasing.

Hot on her heels was Judith Mitchell, who continued her own fine run of form with an excellent 22-point round. Cheli Larsen and Robyn Bitcheno shared third place on 20 points, while another six players finished just one point further back, making for another tightly contested Tuesday competition.

On the 2nd hole, Kay Shaw produced a pin-point approach shot that nestled in close enough to claim the Life Pharmacy Wilkinson's Nearest to the Pin voucher. It was one of those shots that has everyone in the group offering equal parts congratulations and quiet envy.

Meanwhile, Judith Mitchell wasn't content with simply chasing Jenny all afternoon. On the final green, she stood over a slippery downhill putt to one of the toughest hole locations we've seen for a while and calmly watched it disappear into the middle of the cup. It was a brilliant way to finish her round and enough to secure the Neat Meat Longest Putt prize.
