From Freezing to Bluebird – 18 Holes Are Back!
What a difference 24 hours can make in Queenstown!
After temperatures dipping into the negative yesterday, it was hard to believe the transformation today. We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque day for the return of our 18 Hole competitions—bluebird skies, beautiful surrounds and conditions that made getting back to a full round feel pretty special.
18 Hole Stableford
Bernt Carlsson wasted no time making his return to 18-hole golf count, putting together a brilliant 41 Stableford points to take the win and $40. That's a serious number on a full round!
Alan Brown and Steve Moore both finished on 39 points, while Jeffery Morrison wasn't far behind on 38.

Jeffery Works Smarter, Not Harder!
And then we come to Jeffery Smith, who may have had the most efficient day's work of anyone.
Jeff's lone Two was worth a very tidy $76—which means his one moment of brilliance on the short hole ended up being worth almost twice Bernt's $40 winning Stableford prize!
That's what we call working smarter, not harder. One good hole, one good number, and suddenly the maths looks very attractive indeed!
9 Hole Stableford
Over in the 9 Hole competition, Paul Schoenbaechler took the honours with a very respectable 20 points, earning $20. Ron Cusick followed with 17 points to take second and $14.

After yesterday's frost and negative temperatures, today's bluebird conditions felt like someone had flicked a switch and fast-forwarded us towards summer.
A huge congratulations to all our prize winners, and especially to Bernt on an outstanding 41-point round and Jeffery Smith on his highly lucrative bit of "working smarter, not harder."
18 holes are back, the sun was shining, and Queenstown was looking pretty spectacular. Not a bad day to be back on the full course!
