Hello to all , 

I hope this email finds you all well and enjoying the wonderful weather Queenstown has turned on these past couple of weeks.

Just to keep everyone up to date, here are a few items of interest that are coming up in the next few weeks .....

1/InterClub: is being played at Dunstan on Sunday - Let's wish our 6 Intrepid Queenstown Flag Flyers "Good Luck for a Good Round" Please let Jo Denton know if you'd like to play in the final two rounds of InterClub at Arrowtown - 28th Sept & Cromwell 2nd Nov.

2/ Tuesday 26th is Daffodil Day at QGC: We will be playing a Combined 18 and 9 Hole player Stableford from the Yellow tees. Please put your name down on the Tee Sheet and your team and tee time will be organised on Tuesday morning so please arrive ready to tee off at 1000 Tuesday morning. 

3/Medal and Putting: To ready our wonderful course for Spring - Coring of the greens has been planned for early Sept so GNZ LGU Medal and Putting comp days have been moved to Saturday 30th Aug. and Tuesday 2nd Sept. Please endeavour to put your name on the Tee Sheet with players of similar handicaps. Thanks .

4/ CO Vets at QGC on Sept 1st . The Central Otago Vets Comp is being played at QGC. Entry is open to all 18 Hole Registered Players Open over 50 years. This is a roll up event. Please let the nProShop know if you're intending to play. 

5/ A quick reminder -  Fairway Fundamentals Tuesday Sept 2nd : Janie Reese from Kiss My Putt fame will be holding a highly informative evening of the  Basic Fundamentals of Golf from explaining Handicaps, Scorecards, Etiquette to some Basic rules. It's going to be held at Arrowtown Golf Club on Tues 2nd Sept from 5.30pm  Cost is $25  (includes nibbles) . Bookings are essential:

6/ Rule of the week - Please see attached some more info on the Rules of this wonderful Game of Golf that we all love (most of the time.....!)
