A Sunday of Swings, Smiles, and the Kelvin Breeze

Ah, the Kelvin Breeze — always the silent fifth player in any fourball. Some call it a gentle whisper from the lake; others (particularly those who found their ball in the trees on 14) might have stronger words for it. But today, despite the swirling air and unpredictable gusts, the field turned in some outstanding golf. None more so than our man of the moment…

Overall Results – Sunday Stableford Heroes

1st – Andy Lowe (42 points)

Take a bow, Andy Lowe! Not only did he win the day with a commanding 42 points, but he also knocked a staggering five shots off his personal best. That’s right — Andy’s been quietly working away at his game, and today it all came together. Every drive straight, every chip crisp, and every putt (well, almost every putt) found its mark. The clubhouse erupted when word spread — it’s the kind of round that keeps us all dreaming!

Final Thoughts

It was one of those classic Queenstown Sundays — blue skies, a cheeky breeze, and good-natured ribbing echoing across the fairways. Andy Lowe stole the headlines with his personal best, but every player who braved the elements earned a story or two of their own.

As always, a big thanks to everyone who came out, played fair, and made the day memorable. Here’s to keeping that momentum rolling into next week — may your drives be straight, your putts be firm, and your hats stay firmly on your heads.
