Sunny Winter Golf
It may have been chilly to start with, but the sunshine lifted spirits towards the middle of the day. A solid field turned out for today’s Stableford, with some standout scores, a few highlight shots, and even a family act stealing the spotlight on the par threes.
Overall Prize Winners

1st: Darren Hill – 39 pts – $40 – steady golf, enough to top the lot.

Tied (2nd): Jeffery Smith, Corey Sinteur and Kelly MacKenzie – 37 pts – $30 – composed rounds to secure a share of second.

Tied (3rd): Rodney “Rainmaker” Clay and John Leith – 36 pts – $25 – displaying focus and determination all day, sneaking onto the podium.

Tied (4th) Mike Gain, Nina Acland, Russell Moore and Ian Browne – 35 pts – kept the rhythm going, slotting in neatly as a pack for a top five finish.
Prizes continued down to tied 5th place, consisting of 19 players, and showing just how tight the scoring was.

Birdies – Hole 16
Five players collected the Birdie Draw prizes – Michael Wong, Kris Brewin, Jaydee Oh, Stephen Jensen, and Fraser MacLachlan ($15 each).
Net Eagles – Hole 16
The Net Eagles prize was shared on Hole 16, with Kris Brewin, Jaydee Oh, and Stephen Jensen ($25 each) all striking when it mattered. That’s one way to do it.
