Queenstown Golf Club – Sunday Stableford Results

Sunday 24th August 2025

A bluebird winter’s day greeted the field at Queenstown Golf Club, and with the course in superb condition, the stage was set for some quality golf. What followed was a competition full of steady scoring, clutch putts, and even a moment of brilliance.

Overall Prize Winners

At the top of the leaderboard, Craig Paterson produced the round of the day with a superb 41 points, securing 1st place and $35. His golf was as sharp as the frost underfoot.

Not far behind, Karen Scott showed great composure to post 39 points, claiming 2nd place and $30. Meanwhile, Jeri Elliot kept her scorecard tidy to finish on 37 points, good enough for 3rd place and $25.

The mid-table was fiercely contested with three players all on 36 points. Steven Ridley ($20), Jack Niven ($20), and David Grant ($20) each proved that consistency pays off in stableford.

Rounding out the prize winners, Danny King (35 points, $15) and Michael Taylor (35 points, $15) both earned a return on their Sunday efforts.

Shot of the Day – Danny King

The shot of the day belonged to Danny King. On the par-4 10th, Danny’s approach never looked anywhere else but the flag. He converted an eagle two, earning himself the Two’s Jackpot of $30 credit and plenty of clubhouse applause. A shot to remember, and fellow friend Jaydee Oh congratulated him with a Fried Chicken voucher in the clubhouse. Enjoy DK and keep up the good form!
