Thursday Z Energy Stableford Results

Another cracking Thursday out on the course – the weather played nice, the greens ran true, and the Z Energy Stableford competition brought out some top golf (and maybe a few creative scorecards).

The Scores
37 Points:
Nigel Soper, John Stephens, Rob Freer, Craig Patterson, Ian Browne, and Brent Carlsson led the field with impressive rounds. Clearly, these six have been sneaking in extra practice!

36 Points:
Darren Hill, Tom James, and Carole Smith weren’t far behind – just a stroke shy, keeping the leaders honest all day.

35 Points:
Neil Watson, Holmes Byars, and Steve McIsaac rounded out the top finishers with solid performances.

Twos Club
Plenty of birdie fireworks this week, with Michael Wong, Mike Gain, Tom James, Ian Browne, and Craig Patterson each nabbing a two – taking home $9 apiece.
A special mention to Tom James, who pocketed a $30 credit for a brilliant two on the par 4 10th. Nice chip in Tom!

Nearest the Pin
Ian Browne showed pinpoint accuracy to claim nearest the pin – clearly dialled in from the tee box.

Longest Putt
Michael Wong sank the big one of the day – a putt so long it probably needed a map to find the hole.

Birdies/Net Eagles
The Birdies Draw went off on Hole #2, with Tom James and Adam Patchett each walking away $27 richer.

The Net Eagles Draw landed on Hole #13, shared by John Kennedy, Athol Stephens, Errol Frewen, and Nigel Soper, who each take home $14.
