Tuesday delivered one of those picture-perfect autumn days that reminds you why we live and play golf here. Crisp air, golden tones creeping into the trees, and just enough warmth in the sun to keep it comfortable. If this is autumn arriving, it’s doing so very politely. On another note, can you believe that it's March already?!

With ideal conditions overhead, scoring was strong across both the 18-hole and 9-hole fields.

18-Hole Stableford – Placegetters

1st – Adrian Januszkiewicz – 41 points – $35

2nd – Sue Cunningham – 39 points – $30
3rd – Tyree Denise Birch – 39 points – $30

4th – David Clearwater – 38 points – $25
5th – Jenny Browne – 37 points – $20

6th – Carolyn McIsaac – 36 points – $15
7th – Peter Sim – 36 points – $15

A tidy winning score from Adrian at the top, with a closely packed chasing group right behind.

Twos

Just the lone two today, and it paid handsomely:

• Marie Wilkinson – Hole 11 – $32

A sharp strike and a very worthwhile reward.

Birdies Draw – Hole 4

The Birdies Draw landed on Hole 4, and two players capitalised:

• David Clearwater – $16

• Sharron Payne – $16

Nicely timed red numbers on the right hole always feel that little bit sweeter.

Net Eagles Draw – Hole 17

The Net Eagles Draw was pulled on Hole 17, with:

• Nan Mavor – $32

One excellent hole making all the difference.

9-Hole Stableford – Results

The 9-hole field also enjoyed the autumn sunshine and produced some impressive scoring.

1st – Joan Potts – 24 points – $18

2nd – Robynne Stevens – 20 points – $12
3rd – Anne Oliver – 20 points – $12

A strong winning total from Joan to lead the shorter format.

All in all, a superb autumn afternoon of golf — clear skies, calm conditions, and plenty of prize winners heading home happy.
