Thursday Stableford – 30 April 2026
Another good Thursday turnout with the Pick Your Tee format giving everyone the chance to back themselves… or at least remove one excuse from the post-round debrief.
Conditions were kind enough for some solid scoring, and a few players took full advantage, none more so than a man who seems to have found a few extra gears lately.

?? Notable Performances
A special mention to Nigel “The Bomber” Soper, who has clearly found a few extra yards off the tee with his flash new driver. It’s not just for show either, it’s paying dividends where it counts, right at the top of the leaderboard.
And another to Jim Cullen, who turned his round into a very profitable outing. A share in the main event plus cleaning up the Net Eagle pot saw him walk away as the day’s highest earner with a tidy $94. Not a bad return for a Thursday hit.
Final Word
Another enjoyable day at the club with plenty of good scoring, a few standout performances, and enough stories to carry through to the weekend. I think we might be in for a frosty wee start tomorrow morning!
See you all next round,
