Well, after a day that got off to a near perfect start weather wise, we were promptly reminded that it is in fact still only September and the weather can change in the blink of an eye. Albeit rain-less, the breeze picked up as the temperature went the other way! Well done to everyone for sticking it out, there were still plenty of good scores to be had, as you will see below!
It was a proper cooking session from Rodney Clay today, with Rodney serving up a scorching 42 Stableford points to take a commanding three-shot victory, collecting $40 for his efforts.

With $40 heading Rodney's way for the win, perhaps this is finally the week where he has enough in the kitty to shout himself that new hat we've been hearing about! ??
A Bit of Birdie & Eagle Money
There were winners in both the Birdies and Net Eagles draws today, with $13 each heading to the lucky recipients.
The Birdies pot was shared between Peter Adam, Steve Moore, Paul Shipman and Corey Sinteur, while Errol Frewen, Annette Fea, Gregory Latham and John Kennedy picked up the Net Eagles money.
The 8 Hard-Working Twos
There were eight twos on the card today, with each one worth a hard earned $6 each.
Congratulations to Peter Waaka, Rex Duncan, Steve Moore, Peter Adam, Paul Shipman, Corey Sinteur, Neil Watson and Liam Oh.
Rex Duncan's two wasn't far away from going one shot better, as pictured below. Apparently his nice high draw just didn't quite turn in as much as he wanted it to!
Eight golfers, eight twos and six bucks apiece… we reckon that's enough to put a pre-round coffee on the house next time, gentlemen! ???
A solid day all round, but today's headline belongs firmly to Rodney. 42 points, a three-shot winning margin and potentially a brand-new hat on the horizon — that's a pretty successful Thursday at the office!
