“Crisp air, sharp scores, and a finish tighter than a new glove”
Mixed Stableford – Mighty Murray Tops the Lot
The course was in great shape, the sun decided to cooperate, and the field was as strong as ever. Rising to the top of the table was Murray Carter, matching Mike Rivers on 39 points but edging him out on countback to take the win and a tidy $37 for his efforts.
Close behind were Neil Watson (38), Sue Wilson with a cracking 37 to top the ladies, and a big group of contenders on 36, including Dean Corry, Sally Hogg, Andrew Gunn, and Suzanne Vidak.
The top 22 all featured scores of 34 or better – a testament to the fine course conditions and sharp winter golf being played.
