Queenstown Golf Club — Z Energy Stableford Showdown
Thursday 25th September 2025
They say legends are made in the blink of an eye — or in this case, a single swing. John “Boggy” McDowell was the toast of the town today after delivering the shot of a lifetime: a hole-in-one on the 7th hole. With precision, poise, and a touch of clubhouse magic, Boggy’s ball took one bounce and disappeared straight into the cup — sparking high-fives, a few dropped jaws, and a $50 Pro Shop credit for good measure. We don’t know if it was the breakfast, the breeze, or just destiny — but today, Boggy was the man.
